Weekend Visit

This weekend we had some very special visitors! David’s parents got to come down from Louisville. His sister Mary Ann was kind enough to drive them down Friday afternoon, and they spent the weekend with us. The best part was getting to tell them all about the baby face to face instead of over the phone! Friday night we took them out to dinner at Monell’s to celebrate. On Saturday we drove around town to take in some pretty scenery and got to drive through Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. Unfortunately we all had to watch Auburn get beaten by Vanderbilt on Saturday afternoon which was a huge disappointment to David and his Dad who are both super fans! Hopefully they’ll pull it together next weekend, because David and I are headed to Auburn to watch them play in person! At least the Titans didn’t let us down and are now off to an unprecedented 5-0 start. Whoo hoo! Overall it was a great visit, and we’re so glad they got to come!
