Hooray! It's finally here! We've been waiting for the Germantown Christmas Parade for quite awhile now, and we decided to combine it with an open house. Grayson has been asking me multiple times a day when all his friends are coming for the Christmas party! Luckily the parade route begins right at the end of our street - it literally runs four houses down from us! So all our friends parked at our place, and we all just set up our chairs in the intersection. We were on pins and needles all week about the weather, because the forecast called for temperatures around 70 degrees, but 50% -60% chance of rain all weekend. The day started off with thunder and lightening and heavy rain, so it was not looking good. Despite all that, they made the decision to have the parade as scheduled, and we lucked out with only one small shower! After the parade everyone came back to our house for cookies, fudge, coffee punch, hot apple cider, and lil' smokies. A good time was had by all! I didn't even get pictures of the McSwains, the Guinters, or our across the street neighbors Jerry and Linda, but we had a happy full house!

Everyone too busy opening their candy to say cheese except Addy!
