This weekend was our first weekend without a birthday party to go to in about 6 weeks, so we decided to use a free hotel night and take a road-trip to Nashville! We wanted to get away and see some friends we hadn't seen in too long! We were happily surprised at the improvement we saw in the kids' traveling abilities :) We had pretty enjoyable and uneventful trips there and back in the car. So unlike the crying and gnashing of teeth during the 6 hours it took us to drive from Nashville to Memphis a year ago when we moved!! We got to eat at Blue Coast Burrito with Dale and Melissa and Marley, got to go to Monkey's Tree House with Jennifer and Leslie, grabbed lunch at 5 Guys, and got to catch up with Carla and Ron.

Addy was just fine as long as she was just a Beach Babe watching from side...
As soon as she got near the water she was NOT impressed with her first swimming experience!!
