Spring Soccer

Today kicked off the Spring season of soccer. Let's just say that the pictures below were the highlight! We began with this 32 degree day. We did Soccer Ole at Christian Brother's High School. Their program doesn't do games, it just has the kids do drills with their adult partner (Daddy). Grayson didn't really mind the drills, but he didn't want anything to do with kicking the ball to or away from any other kids during the last one-on-one scrimmage part. Combine that with the rainiest Spring in pretty much the history of Memphis, and it was doomed. We went a total of three times (out of ten)!! To be fair, five were cancelled or rescheduled due to actual rain or soggy fields from the day before, but after the first time, we had to bribe him with a trip to McDonald's afterwards for the other two times. It looks like we'll be taking a break from soccer for awhile! Stay tuned for our next adventure!
