The Proctors: Dallas!

After spending one week in Memphis we all flew out to Dallas for a week to catch up with friends and family and for David to have some training at the corporate headquarters. I was nervous how the trip would go with two little ones, but they did GREAT, and I was so proud of them! Addy slept like a champ in the Baby Bjorn, and Grayson had his own seat this time since he turned two and played happily for the most part. Hallelujah! It was especially nice that we got to go when we did, because we got to arrive on Robin's birthday and help him celebrate as well as celebrating Father's Day.

We stayed at a Homewood Suites there, and it was super nice. Grayson got to play basketball and go swimming, so he had a great time! They also had a hotel shuttle that took us to lunch and took us to the Galleria one day to get out and about.

I was so thrilled to be close enough to some of my best friends that they could come visit us in the hotel! Erin came and brought her sweet little Emme to meet us! Emme was born exactly one week before Addy, and though they were both early, their actual due dates were just one day apart! They didn't pay much attention to each other, but we could tell they were best friends already!

Just for the record when Grayson looks back on this picture and wonders why he is wearing those socks and white tennis shoes, he insisted because Uncle Rob was wearing white tennis shoes! Haha!

I was also so glad that Kari agreed to drive up from Waco and spend the day with us!! We hadn't seen each other in forever, like since Grayson was a baby! We had a blast catching up, taking the hotel shuttle and going to lunch at Freebirds, and playing with the kids.
